I am BlueMenpachi, an island girl of Maui.

Blogging since December of 2010, I seek to expand my audience and teach them about ocean and environment awareness through my web log and videos.

It features my adventures in protecting the sea and showing others what ocean awareness means.

 

Ocean acidification, pollution, plastic problems, poaching;

 

These are just a few of the topics I want to teach others because it is important for this generation and the next to understand the impact that humans can have on the world.

 

"From the mountain to the ocean, everything is connected and we all effect one another."

 

That is the understanding I have reached from studying the marine environment and everything that lives in, on and around it.

 

My hope is that I can gather a bigger audience and encourage others to learn and be aware of the little things they can do to protect our world.
